Former Chief Information Officer will develop technical staff service and implement cutting edge IT solutions
BerryDunn hired Danny Burgess as a Manager in the firm's Management and IT Consulting Practice Group.
Burgess brings to the firm 32 years of healthcare information technology experience, serving most recently as Chief Information Officer at MaineGeneral Health, Maine’s third-largest healthcare system.
“It’s rare to find someone with Danny’s blend of expertise and first-hand technical knowledge about how an integrated healthcare system operates,” said Dan Vogt, Principal in BerryDunn’s Management and IT Consulting Practice Group. “He’ll guide clients through major technology initiatives, focusing on strategy, organizational change, and risk management and be a great asset to our team.”
Burgess will also support clients with strategic and operational planning, quality initiatives, vendor selection, implementation support, and IT team development.
Burgess holds a Bachelor of Science from Thomas College in Waterville, ME.
