Elizabeth, a Senior Consultant in BerryDunn’s Healthcare Practice Group, has over 30 years of accounting experience, including both public and private accounting. Specializing in outsourced accounting, she has over 10 years of experience in healthcare accounting and auditing, served as controller of a not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital (CAH), and was a senior accountant at a 351-bed not-for-profit acute care facility.
In prior roles, she was responsible for the financial management of physician practices, foundations, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC). She has successfully turned around three struggling finance departments, in part through extensive account research and clean-up, development of documented month-end closing procedures and schedules, and accurate, timely reconciliation schedules.
Elizabeth believes in the importance of the healthcare industry and enjoys developing positive, team-oriented relationships with both financial and non-financial healthcare managers to help ensure success.
