James is a parks and recreation consultant with over 20 years of experience in municipal and not-for-profit parks and recreation operations, programming, and administration. His areas of expertise include community and employee engagement and CAPRA accreditation and reaccreditation.
Throughout his career he has concentrated on facility management, youth and teen civic engagement, and comprehensive planning for active, older adults. As a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP) and Certified Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) champion, James is proficient in working with underserved communities and developing equitable and inclusive programming. He has worked with over 20 communities and agencies, helping provide equitable services for all.
