Nationally recognized consultants Lisa Paradis and Dannielle (Dannie) Wilson have joined BerryDunn’s growing Parks and Recreation Practice, part of the Local Government Practice Group. The ongoing expansion of this group is driven by a demand for forward-looking approaches to municipal parks and recreation planning, including the facilitation of partnerships with architecture, engineering, and landscape design services.
Paradis works with parks and recreation departments to focus on mission and vision, and to create strategy, policy, and plans that are realistic and attainable. As the former Vice President and Principal of 110% Inc, a consulting service for parks and recreation agencies, and a previous parks and recreation Director (most recently in Brookline, MA), she developed innovative approaches to cost recovery for long-term financial sustainability. Well known as a speaker and facilitator, Paradis has presented at national conferences on a variety of wellness and recreation topics.
Wilson, who formerly owned her own consultancy, offers master planning, strategic planning, and recreation program assessments. She has worked for three parks and recreation agencies in various management roles where she improved efficiencies in program planning and fiscal management. As a member of the National Recreation & Park Association, Wilson is a seasoned conference presenter.
