Gain clarityFeasibility studies

A total view of your organization’s financial feasibility

The purpose of a financial feasibility study is to determine the overall viability of a facility, park or service area, from a financial, competitive, and utilization perspective. It represents a decision making tool to determine the return on investment (ROI) in the allocation of financial resources.

Measure ROI on many levels for optimal operations
A feasibility study does not focus solely on financial results. It also looks at:

  • The vision for the facility
  • Organizational success: what it looks like
  • The competitive landscape and your position in it
  • Philosophy toward operating cost recovery
  • Identifying community needs in support of the project

Feasibility studies require an extensive amount of collaboration with staff to determine operating assumptions. Our team will help you communicate with your team and help create the development of assumptions, a critical component to accurately estimate realistic financial results.

Once the study is complete, we provide a tool (in excel) you can use to model different scenarios for planning and measurement.

For more information on the tool or financial feasibility studies, contact the parks and recreation team.
