Local Government Consulting Team Adds Economic Development Expert
BerryDunn, a full-service assurance, tax, and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the hire of Senior Consultant Sam Eisenbeiser, an AICP-certified planner who brings 20 years of experience to the firm’s Community Development and Utility Operations Practice, a dedicated team within the Local Government Practice Group.
BerryDunn’s Local Government Practice Group meets the growing operational needs of cities and towns nationwide by hiring industry experts like Eisenbeiser. Eisenbeiser will steer the launch of economic development consulting services by offering expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, and project management to build strong economies and vibrant places. “I believe in the positive impact of a sound economic development strategy,” explains Eisenbeiser. “Our consulting team will help municipalities develop a plan that builds capacity, drives economic prosperity and resiliency, and engages the public in the process.” Eisenbeiser follows Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) guidelines and uses market, fiscal, and real estate analyses for long-range planning.
BerryDunn’s economic development consulting team offers planning services in conjunction with their strategic planning team to help ensure communities create a thriving economy that can weather unforeseen market conditions. Eisenbeiser understands how the accelerated pace of change, as well as external forces, can impact communities.
“We’re excited about the expertise that Sam brings to our growing consulting team,” says Kevin Price, PMP®, Principal and Lead of BerryDunn’s Community Development and Utility Operations Practice. “His skills bring depth to our comprehensive planning services, promising to meet the challenges facing our government and municipal clients across the US.”
Current projects include conducting a housing market study for a growing regional economic center and strategic planning for a tourist community to help them grow while staying true to their rural character.
