BerryDunn is pleased to announce the expansion of services to the public works and utilities sector to support recruitment, staffing, and organizational challenges faced by local and regional economies.
According to the NLC (National League of Cities), “Across the country, local governments have historically underinvested in building talent pipelines into management roles.” BerryDunn helps local governments create succession plans and career ladders to help ensure business continuity and improve operational performance.
With this expansion, the team welcomes Senior Consultant Andrea Brinkley. She brings 20 years of municipal operations experience, including direct experience as an Assistant Director of Public Works in Texas. “Working in partnership with local governments to meet the challenges of the future is my passion,” she says. “We focus on streamlining and improving operations to achieve the quality of life communities are striving for.”
Public works and utilities consulting services include organizational and staffing assessments, retention analyses, asset management planning, and business process improvement services. “When you work with Andrea and other consultants on our team, you are working with a partner to improve business operations, re-calibrate, and prepare for future regulatory requirements,” explains Kevin Price, Community Development and Utility Operations Practice Principal.
BerryDunn has been serving public works and utilities clients for over a decade to improve efficiency, service, and confidence in operations—from transportation and facilities to wastewater collection and treatment.
