Amy is a Senior Consultant in the Local Government Practice Group with extensive experience as a governmental accountant. She has 12 years of experience in implementing financial software while maintaining internal controls and improving efficiencies, as well as understanding, translating, and applying the rules promulgated by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) to deliver the highest quality work under strict deadlines.
Amy likes to say she survived and thrived during an ERP implementation at her municipality, and now she seeks out opportunities to assist others through the process. Her firsthand experience from both sides gives her a unique perspective on the implementation process, as she understands her clients' challenges and needs.
