As an experienced business and tax advisor, Mike is well-equipped at identifying and addressing the operational and financial challenges his clients face. Outside of work, Michel enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with his family.
As a Principal, Michel brings more than 15 years of accounting experience working for firms in Maine, Massachusetts, and Colorado. He has a strong technical background in tax preparation, with a focus on construction, telecommunication, and professional services industries. Michel also serves as an advisor in specialty tax areas, including research and development credit studies for qualified businesses, state nexus studies, FIN 48 consulting and tax controversy. Prior to joining BerryDunn, Michel managed the tax department of a mid-sized firm in Denver, Colorado.
