05.13.22

Firm’s ongoing efforts recognized by national association

BerryDunn, a national Top 50 Accounting Firm, wins “Best Workplace Culture” award at the annual BDO Alliance Conference in Las Vegas. This award is a recognition of BerryDunn’s commitment to elevating their culture and workplace environment by investing in learning and development with new leadership roles and adding abundant opportunities for growth.

The firm’s new Chief Culture and Engagement Officer, Mark Felici, has integrated recruiting, human resources, and learning and development efforts with the goal of expanding a firm identity that stems from a dynamic culture all can recognize and identify with.

“Our culture is the backbone to client success—engaged employees make for better outcomes. We continue to innovate our employee experience by creating more ways to offer opportunity, purpose, connectivity, and recognition. This deeper sense of belonging is the key to employee engagement,” says Felici.

BerryDunn strives to build a more inclusive firm, supported by their development, education, recruiting, and onboarding efforts. Evidence of that can be seen in the makeup of the firm’s workforce which includes 60% women firm-wide, an above-average number of women principals for the accounting industry, and a woman CEO, Sarah Belliveau.

The recognition from the BDO Alliance is confirmation that culture remains one of the firm’s greatest assets. By continually listening to their people, the firm can maintain an environment that not only inspires them to come to work every day, but also makes BerryDunn a destination for other highly skilled professionals.
