Ensuring the firm’s strong culture remains intact, is experienced fully by all, and evolves as necessary with continued growth
BerryDunn hired Mark Felici as its first Chief Culture and Engagement Officer. The new position will integrate the firm’s recruiting, human resources, and learning and development efforts into a single, unified approach – creating a firm identity that stems from a dynamic culture all can recognize and identify with.
Prior to joining BerryDunn, Felici was vice president, senior HR business partner in the insurance group at Prudential Financial. Felici comes to the firm with extensive US-domestic and global human resources experience. His background touches nearly every aspect of the workplace operations and culture, including organizational and leadership development, succession planning, executive action, coaching, associate learning and development, recruiting, payroll, staffing, development of policies and procedures, employee relations, labor relations, benefits, HRIS, compensation, and the development of performance appraisal systems.
He also brings expertise in operations management and leadership in functional areas such as employee health and safety, volunteer engagement, patient relations, research, security, food services, FDA remediation, and Current, Good Manufacturing Practices training.
“Our firm’s career development-focused culture is a strategic advantage,” said Sarah Belliveau, CEO, BerryDunn. “With more than 700 employees nationwide, it’s vital that each one feels completely supported in their professional growth throughout their career. Creating the Chief Culture and Engagement Officer position and hiring someone with Mark’s unique skillset ensures that all employees can reach their full potential and achieve career satisfaction. We’re thrilled to welcome him aboard!”
“When firms recognize the direct connection between talent and culture, as BerryDunn does, transformation happens,” said Felici. “Fusing the best aspects of the current developmental culture with passion, performance, and accountability can lead to a very special workplace environment. I’m excited to collaborate with such a talented team in our relentless pursuit of a dynamic culture.”
Felici holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of New Hampshire and has completed graduate-level classes toward a master’s degree in Organizational Dynamics at the University of Pennsylvania.
